Thanks Prabir. I do agree that developing countries have a long way to go, re QR codes, However, I am also noting that QR codes use is perhaps still not particularly high in the US, and perhaps more specifically in non-technical fields. For example, recently, I was scanning the August issue of Oprah’s magazine, and noted that out of all the scores of ads, only two (2) had QR codes…

As you rightly said the key factors for QR business not picking up are (1) ignorance about QR codes, (2) non-availability of Mobile enabled web content and (3) usage of Smart phone for other than normal usage. This is not an issue only with Caribbean but it is same with most of the developing countries.

We at Queaar enable people to create mobile enabled content in few minutes and create QR codes for the same. We hope to eradicate the ignorance among people around QR and let people engage with the codes.
