In fact, not to do it, particularly at a time when our regional governments are so heavily burdened with debt, would be a travesty. There are economies of scale to be had. There are pan regional companies that can be nurtured to be global players. More importantly, there are citizens to be connected and a regional integration process to be supported. Let’s get on with it.
