Eg you would be able to know that the person you wish to collaborate with is available or not through statuses indicators etc., whether they are online or offline, even.

And 2. Platforms such as Vibe, Line and Facebook Messenger, offer both audio and video chat. Both via wi-fi and mobile broadband. No doubt, Whatapp will follow eventually.
