It can mean the difference between “firefighting” and having better control of your emails. And there are lots of tools to help in this regard.

An article I read sometime ago indicated that subscribers use less that 50% of any Mail Server’s full capabilities. Subscribers to MS Exchange Server, for instance, only use up to a third of its full capabilities. When you include add-ins ( like Outlook Insights ), this scales down to just over 20%!

Whether the stats are verifiable remains the question. But one fact is crystal clear, there are lots of tools to help us manage our email inboxes, that we don’t even touch.
