During the pandemic, when everyone had to ( and still do ) heavily rely on Internet connectivity call centres, for example, were affected in terms of connectivity latency. They put up pre-recorded messages to requesting discretion when experiencing these issues.

This may not have been an issue in The Caribbean, but I would think that any future-proofing strategies would put that somewhere on the table as well.
