Going through their White Paper (referenced in the article), OpenAI dwell significantly on what “they do” and “how they see their activities”. But they miss the point of “what they and/or others in the field COULD do”.

A point appropriately captured in both in … RULES ARE NOT ESTABLISHED ONLY FOR THOSE WHO FOLLOW THEM and ….EASIER TO RELAX A RESTRICTIVE MEASURE THAN THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
