Some matters are umbilically connected.

I have been working a few digital transformation projects in the last little while. It is evident that mindset is the single highest barrier to booting transformation. Institutionalising the transformation mind require going beyond the customer and the service as is; whole of business objective and value.

First up, emancipation of the minds. When that happens, innovation is a natural progression. It is an article of faith in the C-level suite that it is the technology that foment innovation. And, the reason for most of these initiatives to fall on the CIO/ person in the technology lead. They must be prepared to oversee and drive iterations in leveraging the technologies as those evolve and transformation takes steam.

If they feel empowered it will happen. For those always looking over their shoulder, it is an existential challenge.
