The Internet of Things has been emerging over the past several years, and is likely to take off in the next two to three years, but is the Caribbean ready for it?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, 24\u201327 April, to be exact, the Caribbean Office of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) hosted a <\/span>Forum on Internet of Things (IoT): Smarter Living in the Caribbean<\/span><\/i>, which was held in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The event sought to \u201c<\/span>highlight the significance of the Internet of Things as a technological revolution that represents the future of computing and communications and its developments being dependent on dynamic technical innovation<\/span><\/i>\u201d (Source: ITU). Accordingly, key objectives of the Forum were to:<\/span><\/p>\n
