Thank you Michele for your continued hard work in keeping this on-line news magazine going. This is one of the main means for me to keep in touch with issues and developments in the information and communications sector in the Caribbean, and by extension the world.
I am particularly interested in matters of cyber security, as this is one of the most pressing needs that Caribbean governments need to address, even as they seek to develop their infrastructure.
Without addressing this, the islands might as well just welcome any unscrupulous and unfriendly government or agency to take any information or data that they posses, and even use it against them or to hinder their growth.
Nevertheless, I am confident that in each island, that every effort is being made to train and qualify, to the highest standard possible, its staff and personnel in the most appropriate methods of securing themselves on-line.
With your help, I am sure that this message is getting across.
Regards
Ras Albert Williams
