The news is filled with the incident of the e-tender glitch at Urban Development Corp of T&T.
This points to one aspect of doing business with government departments or govt-affiliated organisations. There is too much politicisation giving way to too much finger-pointing. If it’s not a small glitch blown out of proportion, it is the improper tendering or it is the cost and the list goes on.
It scares small, but otherwise innovative and agile, businesses.
