The FRIDA Program provides financial support for projects in the form of “small grants.” This means that each project is allocated a small sum, which allows their funding to be complemented by other sources; that these grants are not repayable (no money or interest must be paid back); that their allocation is decided through a competitive process in which a public invitation is made for the presentation of proposals, and these proposals are later evaluated and the best are awarded the grants.
The amount awarded to these projects will be up to US$ 15,000; the maximum term for their completion will be twelve months.
