The HIPCAR Second Stakeholder Consultation and Validation Workshop to review the Legislative Frameworks on Privacy and Data Protection, and Public Access to Information (Freedom of Information) is held in St. Vincent (23-24 May2013), kindly hosted by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Division of Telecommunications, Science, Technology and Special Projects and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
The objectives of the Workshop are to review, validate and adopt the proposals for reform of the aforementioned frameworks to facilitate harmonization in accordance with the HIPCAR Model Policy Guidelines and Legislative Text.
Who Can Participate
The workshop is addressed to relevant Governmental Ministries and Agencies, Regulators, Private Sector Companies, and other stakeholders from relevant associations, academia, regional organizations, etc. concerned with the Information Society Legislative Framework in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a HIPCAR beneficiary country.
